S3 The SI unit of weight is Newton abbreviated N. An object that weighs 1 N has a mass of 0.1 kg. From Table A.3, 1 pound = 4.448 N.

The conversion from g/cm3 to kg/m3 has been done from the above. So we can immediately write the density of ice as 920 kg/m3.
