Muon b-tag

Rick Van Kooten, 3 Dec. 2002
Running from TMBTree's
-
For selection macros, see MuTag.h,
MuTag.C
in /prj_root/809/b_1/rickv1/runtmb
-
For clear instructions on how to run on TMBTree's in root,
see Serban's README.txt in (addpkg -h tmb_analyze) ~/tmb_analyze/macros
"Snapshotted" here for your convenience: p13.02
p13.04
-
e.g. after following the above, in root session:
.x LoadTMBTree_so.C
.L MuTag.C++ (to make a shared object)
MuTag t("filename_tmbtree.root")
e.g., to run on one of the mujet TMBTree's
in that directory,
MuTag t("mujets_3056_tmbtree.root")
t.Loop();
Data Files
-
original TMBTree files from Top group's mujet skim: prj_root/809/b_1/rickv1/runtmb/mujets_xxxx_tmbtree.root
-
selected TMBTree events from Top group's p13.02 mujet skim,
starting with 3M events
-
Total no. events: ~25k, demanding
dR < 0.7 mu-jet association and tight global muon (p13 muonid, Saclay
matching). No pt_rel cut on muon, good for i.e., doing pt_rel
fits using whole range for e.g., lifetime tag certification): indiana-clued0:/rooms/living/rickv/p13_mujets/no_ptrelcut
-
Total no. events: ~11k, demanding
dR < 0.7 mu-jet association and tight global muon and pt_rel(muon)
> 1.0 GeV cut (greatly enhanced in b-content. Estimate ~70% b events):
