Hal's smiling face

I have always been interested in smashing things into each other. This narrowed my career options to High Energy Physics or Demolition Derby. Not having good driving skills, I ended up doing research, first at CERN on the UA1 and OPAL experiments - and presently on the DØ experiment at Fermilab and the ATLAS experiment at CERN. Within these multi-faceted collaborations, my interests lie in the design of high-speed electronics and in the search for the origins of mass and matter in the universe.
